Community Caring Center of Greater Boynton Beach, Inc.

    "Creating A Healthier Community" Initiative

Get Involved . . . . . . . .

There are many WONDERFUL and FUN ways to get involved with the Community Caring Center in addition to simply MAKE A DONATION or SPONSOR AN UPCOMING EVENT

First, our pantry provides 4,000 lbs of food a month to support the needs of our 5,000 clients.

As clients come to us for services, each individual and household goes through an assessment to determine their needs and identify the many ways that we can help including referrals to other agencies that might provide additional services to stabalize each family unit.

For those that need food for themselves and their families, each client is provided emergency food and locally gleaned produce from the pantry and income qualified to receive USDA food products. They are then assisted with on-line application for food stamps. Clients are allowed to come to the pantry once a week until they receive food stamps. USDA is available on a monthly basis for a long as they need it and remain income eligible. If the USDA food and food stamps STILL do not meet the food security needs for the family, they are allowed to return to the pantry once every three months. CCC also offers a monthly affordable food package which can help stretch those food dollars each month. It includes 7.5 lbs of restaurant quality meats & wild caught salmon for $29 and seasonal locally grown vegetables for $6 - 10, a dairy package for $10. CCC is a EBT Merchant. These packages are great for gifts and also for seniors, and VERY SMART shoppers like you! YOU CAN ALSO DONATE A MONTHLY PACKAGE TO A LOCAL FAMILY FOR A MONTH OR A YEAR.
